CASA Appoints New Board Members

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey appoints four new board of trustees’ members: Sharon Hoffman-Manning, MBA, Global OTC Value Stream Senior Director, Consumer Products, Johnson & Johnson; Aileen Gardner, Esq., Associate Attorney, Robbins and Robbins Law Firm LLP; Jason Carter, MBA, National Director, High School Equivalency Test, Education Testing Service; and Stephanie Lomurro, Esq., Partner, Brian Schwartz, Attorney at Law, LLC.

CASA of New Jersey provides technical support, administrative services, and training to 14 local programs in all 21 counties of New Jersey. It also raises awareness of the CASA mission, builds relationships with community partners, and promotes volunteerism. The organization’s programs recruit, train, and supervise community-based volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children placed in New Jersey’s foster care system. Advocates help ensure these extremely vulnerable children receive the services they need and move to safe, permanent and nurturing homes as quickly as possible.
