Combating Cancer 2016

While cancer – in its numerous iterations – is among the most feared medical diagnoses, associated treatments have vastly improved in recent years, including progress in areas such as imaging, radiation, surgery and biopharmaceuticals. Overall, the past two decades have statistically yielded an approximate 25 percent increase in survival rates for all cancers, often with reduced treatment side effects for patients.
