Manasquan River Marriages: Clarks Landing Yacht Club & Marina

It took approximately 50 construction workers four months to complete the multi-million-dollar wedding venue at Clarks Landing Yacht Club & Marina in Point Pleasant, and the result is award-winning: The site features a cocktail room with a grand piano, a ballroom, a bridal suite, a groom’s suite, dining capabilities, a fireplace, and an outdoor deck with glass railings that affords stunning views of the Manasquan River.

An indoor ceremony room accommodates approximately 220 people and likewise includes gorgeous river views via floor-to-ceiling windows. The room is also ideal for pre-cocktail family portraits for couples who choose to have off-site ceremonies.

The ceremony room was a major part of the renovation, as was a new front porch, which serves as the perfect location for couples to have their private portraits taken. Also notable: A large lobby, and a second-floor bar area that can accommodate more staff and thus faster service.

The broader Clarks Landing Yacht Club & Marina includes The Dockside Bar & Grill’s seasonal restaurant that opens on or about Memorial Day and operates through Labor Day, as well as a marina with slips for seasonal boaters and transient slips for boating travelers. A ship store provides bait, tackle, fishing gear and parts for boats. A service department, sales office, and a business and marketing office complete the property. Clarks Landing Yacht Club employs approximately 65 full- and part-time employees per year. The entire facility is owned and operated by the George Truesdale Family.
