RWJ Hamilton Foundation Names Nina Melker New Board Chairperson

The RWJ Hamilton Foundation names Nina Melker as the new chairperson of its Board of Directors. Melker, the Board’s former vice chairman, replaces Sherise Ritter who recently completed her two-year term as Board chair.

Melker has been in the local banking industry for the last 36 years with a range of experience in retail and lending. She spent 23 years at Yardville National Bank where she was First Senior Vice President in charge of Community Banking.  As head of Community Banking, Nina maintained a strong presence in the community, diversifying her time between monitoring sponsorships and donations from the bank in the community as well as serving on many boards and committees.

“I am so pleased to be able to serve as the chair of the RWJ Hamilton Foundation,” Melker said. “It has been a privilege to have worked with this dedicated Board for as long as I have, and I look forward to continuing our work in advancing the mission of RWJ Hamilton.”

In addition to RWJ Hamilton, Melker serves on a number of boards and committees, including the Trenton Catholic Academy, Hamilton Area YMCA, The Foundation of St. Lawrence Rehabilitation and Morris Hall, and the Mercer County Community College Foundation.
