Prism Capital Partners has placed the finishing touches on its 7,000-square-foot headquarters space at 200 BroadAcres Drive in Bloomfield. The move to the new office, which is nearly double the size of its previous space in the same building, responds to a significant period of growth for the commercial real estate owner/operator.
Prism Capital Partners acquired the 380,000-square-foot, four-building BroadAcres Office Park campus in 2006, and has maintained onsite property management operations at 200 BroadAcres Drive since then. In 2012, the firm relocated its headquarters to the building as well, from Englewood.
“We have enjoyed the synergy and efficiency of our entire organization working under one roof, and watching the new office take shape has been an exciting part of the transition,” noted Edwin Cohen, one of the firm’s principal partners. “BroadAcres has evolved into a flagship for our company over the past 10 years. Prism’s new office, designed by The Aztec Corporation, features an exceptionally contemporary environment. The space is multi-functional; serving its corporate office needs and acting as a design and construction showcase. The space’s versatility easily transitions the work environment into a more social atmosphere.
Elements like the low panel, white metal and glass workstations have a European feel; achieving a lighter, open atmosphere for a modern workplace aesthetic, according to Charles Logan, Aztec’s President and CEO. “With white backdrops, featured materials and refined details that create are strong, textural, and reflective space,” he noted. “The surfaces juxtapose clean angles with curves, translucency, and voids that refract light and create movement. The effects are further enhanced with the incorporation of color-changing illumination.”
The Prism offices complement BroadAcres’ modern, 20-acre, park-like campus setting, which features striking building facades, a reflecting pool and fountain, and beautifully manicured grounds. Under its ownership, Prism has created an inviting outdoor courtyard and patio area, and completed full lobby updates at 300 and 400 BroadAcres Drive. Tenants also enjoy available conference space and upscale, specialty sit-down food service and on-site catering on the ground floor of 200 Broadacres Drive.
BroadAcres Office Park’s location between Garden State Parkway exits 151 and 153, near the interchanges of routes 3 and 46, provides unparalleled access to northern and central New Jersey, with excellent access to Manhattan as well. Prism currently is marketing leasing opportunities from 2,500 to 30,000 square feet at the property.
