Norris McLaughlin Adds Schuenke to Bridgewater Office

The law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A. has added Kassy Schuenke as an associate in the firm’s Bridgewater office. She joins as a member of the Business Law Practice Group.

“Kassy has unique corporate law experience, working on a variety of transactional matters that have involved intellectual property components, and we are confident that her skillset will make her a valuable addition to our team,” said David C. Roberts, chair of Norris McLaughlin.

Schuenke works with clients on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, capital markets and private equity matters. She provides strategic counsel throughout all stages of the corporate life cycle, with an emphasis on formation and organizational matters, commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, and intellectual property assets.

Schuenke has experience with capital markets transactions as well as buy and sell-side public and private mergers and acquisitions, working in all phases of these deals including document review to drafting ancillary and primary transaction documents.

A graduate of Rutgers Law School, Schuenke received her B.S. from the University of California, Davis. While attending law school, she served as a legal intern with AccuWeather, Inc., assisting with tasks including auditing the trademark portfolio and conducting legal research on intellectual property issues. Schuenke also worked as a senior clinical student attorney at the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic where she provided supervised representation to the clinic and students and served as a liaison to the Entrepreneurial Clinic.
