Groupe SEB USA Will Relocate to Parsippany

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, has arranged a 31,164 square-foot leasing transaction for Groupe SEB USA at 5 Wood Hollow Drive, owned by Mack-Cali, in Parsippany.

The company, which is known for small household equipment brands such as All-Clad, Krups, Rowenta, T-fal and WearEver, plans to relocate its North American headquarters from 1 Boland Drive in West Orange to a portion of the 2nd floor at the class A, 317,040-square-foot office building in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Savills Studley’s Senior Managing Director Christopher B. Marx, Assistant Director Christopher Hanenberg and Associate Michael Nieliwodski represented the tenant in the long term transaction, while the landlord, Mack Cali, was represented by Brian DeCillis in-house.

“It was imperative to Groupe SEB that we find them class A space that would allow the company the flexibility to continue to grow and expand its brand portfolio. By working closely with Mack-Cali, we were able to unlock some unique amenities for Groupe SEB and secure a long-term commitment,” said Mr. Hanenberg.

According to Mr. Marx, “Groupe SEB USA is expanding and the new space will be designed for collaboration and optimum workplace flow for the business’ growing headcount.”

“This transaction allowed us to create a high-end office environment for Groupe SEB, which will include a test kitchen, a more open floorplate and greater efficiencies,” he said. “The building’s outstanding location and prestigious client roster fits perfectly with Groupe SEB’s brand and corporate image.”

Situated near I-287 and I-80, the LEED Gold certified building at 5 Wood Hollow Drive includes amenities such as an on-site, full-service cafeteria, parking and a three-story atrium lobby.

Based in France, parent company Groupe SEB operates in more than 120 countries and sells approximately 200 million products a year.
