Cullen and Dykman LLP, with New Jersey offices in Hackensack, Newark and Princeton, is pleased to announce that partner David Edelberg has been named the 119th president of the Bergen County Bar Association and will be honored at a gala on May 5.
Throughout his 34-year career, Edelberg has proven himself an expert on bankruptcy law, authoring multiple articles on Bankruptcy Code and lecturing on behalf of the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Seton Hall Business School, Bergen Community College and the National Business Institute concerning bankruptcy law.
At Cullen and Dykman, Edelberg focuses primarily in the fields of Bankruptcy Law, Creditor’s Rights and Commercial Litigation. He is the recipient of the prestigious American Jurisprudence Award in Bankruptcy and was appointed by the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey to multiple terms of service on the District Ethics Committee, District II-B. In addition, he has been selected to the Super Lawyers list (2012-2017) by Thomson Reuters and to the Bergen County best lawyers list by 201 Magazine (2012-2014).
Before joining Cullen and Dykman, Edelberg was an equity partner at Nowell Amoroso Klein Bierman, P.A. where he was chair of the bankruptcy department. In addition to his membership and leadership at the Bergen County Bar Association, Edelberg is a member of the Debtor Creditor Section of the New Jersey Bar Association and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Edelberg will be honored at Bergen County Bar Association’s 118th Annual Dinner & Dance on May 5 at the Woodcliff Hilton at 6 p.m.
