Commercial real estate brokerage firm CBRE Group Inc., recently announced that it has arranged a 34,753-square-foot lease for Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park in the Seaview Square Mall. The retail property, owned by Wharton Realty Group, is located at 1000 State Highway 66 North, Ocean Township.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, an all-trampoline, walled indoor playing court facility, will be opening its Ocean Township location this fall, in conjunction with the opening of an additional location in the company’s hometown of Milwaukee, W.I. Due to its popularity among residents, the growing franchise saw Seaview Square Mall as the ideal location for making its entrance into the region.
CBRE’s Patricia Riedel, senior associate, led the search for SkyZone’s first Monmouth County park, working with franchise location co-owners Mark and Barbara Glazer over a period of 10 months to secure a lease for the new trampoline park. “The Sky Zone franchise is rapidly experiencing growth, as it opens new locations on continuous basis, and we’re excited to have a part in this expansion,” said Ms. Riedel. “It’s not all that common to see a recreational facility of this kind situated in a retail setting, which will really help this location to stand out to consumers. In addition, Seaview Square is already home to various family-centric tenants and, therefore, is an ideal fit for the company.” CBRE’s Nena Mass, senior vice president; Suzanne Macnow, first vice president; and Marta Person Villa, vice president rounded out the CBRE tenant representation team.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park will sit next to Big Lots at the property, which is conveniently located at the intersection of Routes 35 and 66. Other major retailers at the mall include Target, COSTCO, and Starbucks. Construction of the Sky Zone space has begun and the new location is scheduled to open in early fall 2014. Monmouth County’s park will include an Open Jump Court, four Dodgeball courts, three SkySlam Basketball courts, a five-lane Foam Zone and more.
