Bell Works Opens Health and Wellness Complex

Somerset Developments recently held the grand opening of the new health and wellness complex at Bell Works in Holmdel.

Additionally, a COVID-19 vaccination site has opened at the location. Administered by the Visiting Nurse Association, the site can provide approximately 300-400 inoculations daily of the Moderna vaccine, depending on dosage supply. Hours of operation for the vaccine program are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The new health and wellness complex is located at The Block at Bell Works — the metroburb’s ground-floor ‘pedestrian street.’ It features a mix of physicians and healthcare providers that will operate through several new entities: BellHealth, Bell Wellness and The Pharmacy at Bell Works. This hand-selected network of providers, which will utilize innovative technology including a customized treatment app, will be joined by Iorio Plastic Surgery and Medspa as the core healthcare offerings available at Bell Works.

WIth the new addition of these cutting-edge healthcare service providers, the metroburb continues its evolution into a thriving, amenity-rich community that embodies the spirit of a great urban downtown – and furthers its value as an asset to the greater Holmdel/Monmouth County region.

“When we first envisioned Bell Works as a self-contained metropolis in suburbia, we knew that healthcare was a critical service need for our community – a belief that has only been accelerated by the pandemic,” said Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development. “The opening of this complex will allow us to successfully meet a wide variety of the health and wellness needs within Bell Works and the surrounding region, particularly at a time when there is an incredibly important focus on individual health and safety. I’m excited to welcome each of these expert providers as the newest members of our metroburb family, and as extraordinary additions to The Block at Bell Works.”

BellHeath, which will be operating out of an approximately 2,200-square-foot space, will offer a range of services and specialties including primary care, dermatology, podiatry, psychology, orthopedics and neurosurgery. The company will also offer urgent care via Immediate Care, which was recently ranked as the top  ‘Urgent Care’ provider in Monmouth County by Monmouth Health and Life Magazine. Through Immediate Care, COVID-19 testing will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am – 5pm, which includes EUA-authorized COVID-19 PCR testing at an FDA approved lab.

“As a local Monmouth County resident, I’m acutely aware of the buzz about Bell Works and how it has grown into a bustling hub for our area. My partners and I recognized a health and wellness section would benefit the property, as well as the greater Holmdel community, which made it an ideal location for our services,” said Brian Druker, partner of BellHealth and owner of The Pharmacy at Bell Works. “We’re bringing together a network of health and wellness professionals, who will be working closely to provide a personalized health solution for our fellow tenants and local neighbors, and that aligns perfectly with the collaborative spirit that permeates through Bell Works.”

Bell Wellness, an ultra-modern 3,800-square-foot space, will provide high quality physical therapy, chiropractic, interventional pain management, regenerative medicine and acupuncture services. This is the second location for the practice, which was started in 1941 and remains as one of the oldest continuous chiropractic practices in the nation. Bell Wellness is the culmination of the Grossman family’s 80-year, multi-generational history of providing unparalleled, compassionate care to Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean County residents.

“I am honored and humbled to help bring Ralph Zucker’s vision of collaborative, cutting-edge,multi-specialty healthcare to the Bell Works community,” said Dr. Dan Grossman, founding partner of Bell Wellness. “From inception, we never lost sight of our goal to create a patient-centered blueprint for future wellness and prevention-based healthcare. Our providers represent the best of the best, and through our direct relationships with both state and national associations, we aim to create new platforms to be modeled throughout the country.”
