NAI Hanson Finds New Home for Expanding Biotech Company in Fort Lee

NAI James E. Hanson, a full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announces it has brokered a lease of 4,881-square-feet of Class-A office space to PixarBio at the Fletcher Office Center located at 2200 Fletcher Avenue in Fort Lee. NAI Hanson’s Scott K. Perkins, SIOR, Andrew Somple, SIOR, and Christopher Todd represented the tenant, PixarBio.

PixarBio is a rapidly expanding Boston-based biotechnology company with a specialization in post-operation pain management has multiple locations across the Northeast. The company needs to be in close proximity to New York City for its expanding sales team and access to clients and their company’s existing Manhattan location. The Fletcher Office Center is a 7-story 215,274-square-foot Class-A office space with 450 covered parking spaces, 24-hour access, a fitness center and a restaurant. PixarBio will occupy a 4,881-square-foot section on the third floor. Fletcher Office Center’s location allows for direct access to the George Washington Bridge, The New Jersey Turnpike, Routes 4 and 46 and The Palisades Parkway

“Our client needed a larger class-A space with immediate access to New York City to support the growth they have seen in this marketplace,” said Somple. “We were able to find them their ideal space in a great office building just minutes from the City. Biotech is a growing and highly competitive field, so it is important that this space was an asset which was helping them to continue to grow. With the reduced cost of opening a location in Fort Lee, instead of directly in Manhattan, the space should prove highly accessible while also providing PixarBio with the flexibility it needs now.”
