NAI James E. Hanson, a New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, announces that Grimco Inc. has leased 12,000 feet of space at 140 Grand St., a 30,000-square-foot industrial property in Carlstadt.
The property is owned by Prologis NAI Hanson Senior Vice Presidents Jeffrey W. DeMagistris, SIOR and Thomas A. Vetter, SIOR represented Grimco in the transaction.
Grimco Inc., a distributor of products for the sign industry intends to use the space as a distribution facility. The single-story warehouse features 18-foot ceilings with 30’x 33’ column spacing, which allows for easy maneuvering of large products and heavy machinery. It also boasts three loading docks.
Along with its desirable features, the building is located in the sought-after Meadowlands industrial submarket, near several major roadways including the NJ Turnpike, Route 17 and Route 46.
“Grimco Inc. wanted to locate in an industrial area that would enable its expansion into the northeastern region,” DeMagistris explained. “We worked closely with our client to identify a property that would provide good access to important markets like Newark, Jersey City and New York City.”
