Gov. Phil Murphy, center, visited Princeton Innovation Center BioLabs (PICb) to announce two statewide programs aimed at supporting new and established innovative New Jersey businesses. One program, NJ Ignite, helps pay rent for early stage life science and technology companies
at PICb. 

Network 

Princeton Innovation Center BioLabs, premier incubator for technology and life science startups in New Jersey, is open to high-growth potential Princeton and non-Princeton startups. PICb also offers networking opportunities and educational events for New Jersey entrepreneurs and innovators.

Implement 

This Smart Cities conference, coordinated by Princeton, brought together New Jersey academia, industry and government to discuss research and policies.

Collaborate

Google’s newest AI lab, located across the street from Princeton University’s Nassau Hall, is a collaboration that brings together researchers from Princeton and Google, gives them access to Google’s computing resources, and has the potential to extend machine learning and lead to discoveries in a variety of fields.

Accelerate

Princeton and Microsoft are collaborating on the leading edge of microbiology and computational modelling. Professors Ned Wingreen and Bonnie Bassler are working with Microsoft to test the company’s new Station B platform with the goal of boosting production of lifesaving biological therapies and accelerating discovery.

Build

Princeton and the New Jersey Health Foundation have entered into an agreement that could provide $10M over the next five years to support the University’s groundbreaking translational research and startup companies that build upon that research for public benefit.

Engage 

Princeton Entrepreneurship Council engages the Princeton entrepreneurial ecosystem through education, mentoring and funding. Collaboration with Princeton entrepreneurs accelerates innovation. 

Connect 

Industry regularly works with the University to connect with students, faculty and staff in a variety of ways including through on-campus talks and programs.

License 

The University helps connect industry, investors, and entrepreneurs with Princeton’s technologies. Professor Robert K. Prud’homme and former student Dr. Brian K. Johnson were recognized with an Edison Patent Award by the Research & Development Council of New Jersey.
