Warren Geller is the president and CEO of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC), one of New Jersey’s leading providers of comprehensive, high-quality, humanistic care.

Geller assumed the role in 2013, after joining EHMC as executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2009.

His transition to CEO came during a transformative time for the medical center, ushering in a new era of care with a robust and ambitious modernization plan. The projects were launched in response to increasing patient demand for maternity and oncology services. Two short years later, the expansion is realizing success at a record pace.

The Family Birth Place offers a family-centered experience in a modern space with amenities that rival a 5-star hotel. The Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center began its phased opening in 2014, providing high-tech seamless screening, imaging, diagnosis and treatment services in one convenient location.

Under Geller’s visionary leadership, EHMC entered into a clinical and academic affiliation with Hackensack University Health Network in early 2015. The strategic alliance initiated the formation of a regional cardiac surgery program, anticipated to become one of the largest of its kind in northern New Jersey and serving as a national model for collaborative care.

EHMC consistently ranks nationally and regionally for clinical excellence and patient safety, most recently earning Bergen County’s only “Top Hospital” designation from The Leapfrog Group.

The medical center’s recent growth and achievements can be attributed to Geller’s management philosophy; an emphasis on the importance of communication, consistency and listening.

Prior to joining Englewood Hospital, Geller served as senior vice president at Northern Westchester Hospital. Before that, he was director of business development at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.
