Continuing the Conversation

What started as a vision back in 2011 has evolved into a unique and highly successful partnership. At IBEW Local 102, we started by simply sponsoring events held by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), putting ourselves in the room with New Jersey’s top business leaders.

The comfort level and trust between our two organizations grew and, in 2015, we became the first labor union to sign on as a NJBIA member. We now proudly wear the title of Premier Sponsor of the Association. Last year, at the NJ State League of Municipalities conference in Atlantic City, we shared space on the convention floor, further solidifying our mission to work together for the betterment of New Jersey.

We look forward to furthering the conversation between our two groups. NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka and her team have continually provided the building trades community with the platform to showcase our businesses and views. This special section is just another example of our partnership at work. We hope you enjoy this edition of New Jersey Business magazine and invite you to join us at the table.
