In 2024, Di Cara | Rubino Architects proudly celebrates 30 years of design excellence. Our mission today is what it has always been: to offer outstanding design solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations. We continue to provide great design with integrity and enthusiasm and are guided by our company vision: “Good enough never is.”

Established in 1994 by Principal Germano R. Rubino, AIA, under the name G.R.A. Architecture, the firm evolved when Joseph A. Di Cara, AIA, became partner in 1999. This collaboration led to the incorporation and rebranding of the firm as Di Cara | Rubino Architects. In 2021, the promotion of Allen Barnett, AIA, Allison Sroka, AIA, and Roderick Watkins, AIA, to principal positions further strengthened our leadership. Collectively, the firm principals possess more than 40 years of dedicated experience in the public design and planning industry.

As one of the leading full-service architectural firms in New Jersey, Di Cara | Rubino Architects specializes in the design of educational facilities. We have provided professional architectural services for over 100 educational clients throughout New Jersey, ranging from “on call/as needed” services, to facility upgrades, master plans, additions, renovations, and new construction.

Together with a talented and dedicated staff, our commitment to excellence extends to the customization of each project team to meet the unique needs and expectations of our clients, thus ensuring every project adheres to the highest building standards, is completed on time, and stays within budget.
