Pharma Firm Delivers Job Remedy

Sandoz, Inc.

After many months and $20 million in renovation and reconstruction of 100 College Road West in Plainsboro Township, Sandoz Inc. opened its North American headquarters in a newly created state-of-the-art facility. But the building alone only tells half of the story of what makes Sandoz a New Good Neighbor.

The new 154,000-square-foot office space at 100 College Road features an open floor plan design and includes many meeting room options, such as both standard conference rooms and informal collaboration areas. Walls of large windows combine with the open floor plan to afford employees with the maximum benefit of natural lighting as well as a clean, simple environment conducive to collaboration.

Sandoz is committed to keeping jobs in New Jersey. By relocating to this site, the company was able to retain 300 jobs in the state and anticipates the potential hiring of 70 additional full-time employees. Sandoz also expects an increase in interest by prospective employees thanks to the first-class services offered by an excellent on-site cafeteria, and the various amenities of the Forrestal Village, Plainsboro’s Village Center, and surrounding Princeton area.

Sandoz is an exemplary corporate citizen. Each year, the company sponsors Community Partnership Day, where the employees are given time away from their work responsibilities to volunteer in the community. Additionally, the corporation runs charitable fundraisers for many organizations, including Ronald McDonald House, One Simple Wish, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, the ARC of Mercer, the Trenton Soup Kitchen, Eden Autism, Womanspace, the VFW, and various relief organizations, and also improves the living conditions at animal shelters. In all cases, Sandoz employees enthusiastically give of their time.

Sandoz is committed to being a strong and supportive community partner and looks forward to a long and beneficial relationship with Plainsboro Township, Princeton, and the greater Middlesex-Mercer County region.
