The New Jersey Business & Industry Association and New Jersey Business magazine proudly present the 56th Annual New Good Neighbor Awards, which salute those firms that have, in the last two years, contributed to the economic value of their communities by constructing new buildings or investing in noteworthy improvement projects.
This year, 25 projects were entered. These projects comprised a total of $528.7 million in development investments and created a total of 3,200 construction jobs and 3,121 full-time and part-time jobs in the state.
An independent panel from a cross section of state associations and organizations judged the entries based on their economic benefits, job creation, architectural merit and community involvement. On the following pages, we reveal the 12 winners, as well as two special awards. This group of 14 comprises a total of $425.4 million in capital investments, 2,209 construction jobs and 2,379 full-time and part-time jobs.
The 2016 New Good Neighbor Award winners are being honored at a reception on July 15 at The Pines Manor in Edison.
