SJI provides safe, reliable, affordable energy services to nearly 700,000 customers statewide through three primary subsidiaries: SJI Utilities, South Jersey Energy Group and SJI Midstream. Serving New Jersey for more than a century, we power homes, schools, hospitals, and more through our family of companies. 

Through SJI Utilities, the holding company for our three regulated natural gas utilities, we provide dependable natural gas service to customers in New Jersey and Maryland. 

Our non-utility businesses, under South Jersey Energy Solutions, promote efficiency, clean technology and renewable energy by providing customized wholesale commodity marketing and fuel management services; acquiring and marketing natural gas and electricity for retail customers; and developing, owning and operating on-site energy production facilities. 

SJI Midstream houses our interest in the PennEast Pipeline Project. Once operational, PennEast will supply New Jersey homes and businesses with abundant, affordable natural gas, protecting consumers in our state from the expense of natural gas prices during peak usage periods.
