Connell Foley, a full-service law firm with seven offices across the Mid-Atlantic region, prides itself on its commitment to clients and community alike. This focus, which has been a part of the firm’s core values since its inception 80 years ago, is an integral factor in the firm’s continued success.

Once again, Connell Foley enjoyed a successful year in terms of growth, as well as recognition for its business and philanthropic efforts. Since the beginning of the year, the firm welcomed 15 new attorneys across a range of practice areas, including Environmental, Health Care, White Collar Criminal Defense, Taxation and Estate Planning, Commercial Litigation, Professional Liability, Labor and Employment, Real Estate and Products Liability.

The firm’s growth resulted in Connell Foley moving up nearly 50 spots in the National Law Journal’s “NLJ 500,” an annual ranking of the country’s 500 largest law firms. Connell Foley and Managing Partner Philip F. McGovern Jr. were also featured in a New Jersey Law Journal article related to that publication’s annual survey of the top 40 New Jersey law firms. Connell Foley was highlighted for its growth in the number of firm attorneys and revenue.

Also in 2019, the firm and many of its attorneys were honored for their contributions to the practice of law as well as to the community. From accolades for the Environmental, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, Franchise, Real Estate and Insurance practices, to individual awards from civic organizations, bar associations, non-profit entities and business publications, Connell Foley earned significant recognition for its commitment to legal excellence and, as importantly, for its support of charitable organizations.

In connection with the firm’s community efforts, Connell Foley again hosted several collection drives to gather items for the most at-need members of the community. From back-to-school supplies and toys for disadvantaged youth, to clothing and food items to help families get back on their feet, Connell Foley employees gave generously. These ongoing efforts speak to the core values established by the firm’s founders: teamwork, service and loyalty.
