Designated New Jersey’s Public Liberal Arts College, Ramapo College of New Jersey has been dedicated to providing students a with strong liberal arts foundation for a lifetime of achievement since its founding in 1969. This year, Ramapo College celebrates its 50th Anniversary. The College invites all to celebrate this important milestone with us through a robust schedule of events, activities, and programming.

6,000+ students pursue Baccalaureate degrees in one of 36 academic programs, as well as part-time Master’s degrees offered in accounting, business administration, educational technology, educational leadership, nursing, social work, and special education.

The 300-acre campus combines rural beauty with proximity to major suburban and urban areas and businesses. This enables students to participate in nearby internships and co-ops. 

Ramapo College is continuously improving the campus. The 36,000-square-foot Adler Center for Nursing Excellence, opened in 2015, features nursing simulation rooms, science and computer labs, and classrooms. It is also home to the newly-opened (October 2018) NextGen Dunkin’ restaurant. Currently, the George T. Potter Library is being renovated and a new 80,000-square-foot Learning Commons is being constructed. In addition to the library collection, there will be 26 reserve-able study rooms, innovative study spaces, smart classrooms, new centers, and collaborative space for research and exploration.
