Leading the Way in New Jersey

Verizon is one of the largest and most important drivers of the New Jersey economy with more than 14,000 employees and an annual investment of well over $1 billion. One of our key people leading Verizon’s charge in the state is Yoli Stancil.

After 28 years of working for Verizon in New York City, Yoli was promoted to one of the most high-profile jobs in the region: Serving as Regional President for MidAtlantic North’s wireline field operations.

In the role, Stancil has the task of overseeing all wireline services, from FiOS, to DSL, to traditional telephone service in every subscriber’s home.

Her territory and responsibilities are extensive, overseeing 4,400 Verizon employees and operations that include a massive fiber and copper network throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Headquartered in Livingston, Stancil is focused on delivering the best performing networks and the best technologies to our Mid-Atlantic North customer base. She studies every level of contact between a customer and the Verizon team, working to ensure prompt, courteous and knowledgeable interactions at every point.

“One of the biggest opportunities in this position is to identify ways in which to further enhance customer service,” she said. “In today’s competitive marketplace, we need to meet all of the customers’ needs and be flexible, giving them what they want in a timeframe that works best for them, all while ensuring they understand the value of our superior products and services.”

Stancil has aggressive goals for Verizon, delivering on a promise of better customer service, removing unnecessary costs from operations and preparing for future growth.

“I am extremely interested in nurturing the culture we have at Verizon,” Stancil said. “I want each team member to feel passionate about the amazing services that they provide to our customers and how important they are to our success! We all have a stake in Verizon.”

When not working, Stancil is a proud mother to three beautiful daughters and volunteers for their school PTA. She also sits on the school’s Diversity Committee, ensuring no student or family is left behind as her neighborhood continues to change and evolve.
