Weiss Realty Completes Sale of Retail Property in Newark
On May 19, 2017Weiss Realty, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced it has arranged the sale of the 11,726-square-foot former La Furniture Warehouse store in Newark. An investment entity affiliated with Weiss Realty in partnership with CHT Group of Englewood Cliffs acquired the property located at 262-270 Broad Street, according to Matthew Weiss who is the broker representing the ownership in marketing the property.
The one-story retail building has 128 square foot frontage on Broad Street and a parking lot for 20 cars.
“We recognized that the property’s prime location, in the Central Ward of Newark off Broadway and Bloomfield Avenue with easy access to Route 21 in a highly populated area with visibility, represented a great development opportunity and we were able to complete the sale quickly,” commented Matthew Weiss.
