Today, tax, audit, accounting and advisory firm WeiserMazars LLP announced that New Jersey resident James Blake has been appointed to the newly created position of managing partner. This appointment is consistent with WeiserMazars’ ongoing national expansion strategy and leadership succession plan. As the firm’s managing partner, Blake will be responsible for coordinating WeiserMazars’ operational management on a local, regional and national level. He will continue to lead the Edison office and to serve on the firm’s executive committee.
“WeiserMazars’s continued growth and geographic expansion necessitates a rigorous approach to managing the increasing complexities of our business. Jim’s demonstrated skills and success in leading our New Jersey practice for over a decade makes him uniquely qualified to take on the role and responsibilities of the firm’s managing partner,” says WeiserMazars’ Chairman Doug Phillips.
Blake is also a member of Mazars Group’s Global Business Board, where he helps determine strategy for the development of international accounting, tax, and consulting services for owner managed businesses.
“I am honored and excited to take on the role of managing partner. I look forward to driving the firm’s national strategic plan and contributing to the further development of the operational effectiveness of the firm,” commented Blake.
