Verizon Renews, Expands at Eisenhower Corporate Campus in Livingston

Verizon Communications has renewed and expanded its office lease for a total occupancy of approximately 200,000 square feet at Eisenhower Corporate Campus (ECC) in Livingston. The 385,000-square-foot Class A office complex, located at 290 W. Mount Pleasant Avenue, is owned and managed by Eastman Companies along with joint venture partner Long Wharf Real Estate Partners of Boston, Mass.

Eastman Companies was represented in the transaction by the brokerage team of Jeff Garibaldi, Michael Witko and Scott Garibaldi of The Garibaldi Group, exclusive leasing agent for the property, and Eric J. Maurer, Eastman’s director of leasing. Jonathan Meisel and Fred Hyatt of JLL represented the tenant.

The lease renewal expands Verizon’s current occupancy of more than 154,000 square feet by an additional 44,000 square feet.

In 2008, Eastman Companies embarked on a multimillion dollar capital improvement campaign to completely renovate and reposition ECC in order to meet the evolving needs of today’s corporate tenants and accommodate a growing millennial workforce, according to Michael Schofel, managing partner of Eastman Companies.
