Verizon Appoints Flood as Atlantic North Market President

Verizon has announced the appointment of Chris Flood as the senior vice president and market president of Verizon’s Atlantic North Market. He will be responsible for overseeing all consumer sales, distribution, and operational execution across the market’s 12 states (plus Washington, D.C.), leading a team of more than 2,800 employees, managing 286 corporate stores, and responsible for a region covering more than 1,100 indirect stores and nearly the entire Verizon Fios footprint.

To say it is a dream come true to lead it is the understatement of the century.”

According to Verizon, Flood’s leadership philosophy centers on fostering a positive culture, firmly believing that when one build’s a great culture, the results will naturally follow. In the Atlantic North Market, Flood has cultivated a culture of integrity, performance excellence, transparency, and a strong commitment to giving back to the communities Verizon serves.

In his previous role, Flood served as the consumer vice president of Verizon Consumer Group’s northeast region, where he led corporate retail and indirect sales. He also held the position of vice president – strategic partners, where he spearheaded strategy and performance for outsourced partners that delivered customer service capabilities to more than 100 million mobile and Fios consumers.

He is a graduate of Strayer University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and began his career at Verizon as a retail sales representative in Long Island. He resides in Flemington with his wife, and four children.
