Valley Bank’s New HQ Awarded LEED Green Building Certification

Valley National Bank has been awarded LEED v4 Commercial Interiors Gold for its new state-of-the-art headquarters located at 70 Speedwell Avenue in Morristown. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and an international symbol of excellence. Through design, construction and operations practices that aim to improve energy efficiency, environmental stewardship, and human health, LEED-certified buildings are helping to make the world more sustainable.

Valley achieved LEED certification by addressing areas such as carbon, energy, water, waste, transportation, materials, health, and indoor environmental quality. The Valley Bank headquarters specifically focused on:

  • Creating a healthy, high-performing building environment for the well-being of their people.
  • Running a modern, high efficiency building for the benefit of their operations.
  • Investing in what we value ourselves, in addition to promoting sustainable investments to their clients.
