Union County Savings Bank Opens New Administrative Office

Union County Savings Bank (UCSB), the 140-year-old community bank headquartered in Elizabeth, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new administrative office in Springfield with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located at 130 Mountain Avenue across from Jonathan Daly High School, the newly designed Springfield office space will accommodate back-office employees, including human resources, its charitable foundation, marketing and compliance. The new location will make it even more convenient for the bank to serve the needs of yet another Union County community through its wide array of volunteer programs and charitable grants.

“At Union County Savings Bank, our mission is to deliver unparalleled service to our customers and communities,” said Joseph Yewaisis, Union County Savings Bank Chairman & CEO. “As UCSB continues to grow, this new administrative office will serve as a key hub in ensuring we continually offer the best products, services and outreach to our valued customers.”

The brick-façade building underwent a total renovation throughout the winter, further advancing UCSB’s progress in modernizing its operations. The bank recently introduced online and mobile banking with expanded services like Zelle money transfers and bill pay. It will unveil both consumer and business debit cards this month.

Union County Savings Bank, founded in October 1883 and headquartered in Elizabeth, is an FDIC-insured bank, with $1.9 billion in total assets, and currently operates four branches in Union County.
