Component Hardware Group Inc. (CHG), a global manufacturer and supplier of hardware, plumbing and specialty products for the foodservice, healthcare and institutional markets, announced that Greg Tucholski has been appointed to president and chief executive officer. Tucholski replaced Harry Franze, who was in the role for the past eight years, on June 1.
Tucholski joins CHG from Protective Industries, Inc. (Caplugs), a previous portfolio company of Windjammer Capital where he served as president and CEO for five years while based in Buffalo, NY. During his tenure as CEO, the company experienced tremendous growth through organic practices, strategic acquisitions and continued focus on product innovation.
His previous experience also includes being a board member of CHG, and prior to Caplugs, Tucholski served as president of Hill-Rom’s international division for six years in Batesville, IN. Tucholski’s extensive experience supports the significant future growth planned for CHG.
“Greg is a proven leader that will continue to move the company forward with the speed required to take Component Hardware to the next level,” said Greg Bondick, managing director of Windjammer Capital Investors.
“I am both excited and honored to join Component Hardware as president and CEO,” said Tucholski. “This is a remarkable company with tremendous opportunity and I look forward to leading the team in driving growth and delivering solutions to our customers.”
