Team Nissan of Vineland Reopens Overcoming Odds

Team Nissan of Vineland celebrates its grand re-opening from Tuesday, December 12th through Saturday, December 16th three years after the family-owned business experienced a historical fire that destroyed the dealership’s facilities.

According to Team Nissan officials, hard work, determination and support from loyal customers and the community enabled the local dealership to overcome the catastrophe. For the last three years the company owners say they and their 40 employees continued providing car sales and services utilizing trailers on the fire-stricken lot.

Scott Schwartz, executive vice president and general manager for Team Nissan explained, “We’re grateful to have gotten through this hurdle and reached the finish line. We’ve served the Vineland and surrounding communities since 1989 and now we get to finally celebrate with so many who we continue to serve and those who we are getting reacquainted with.”  It was the determination to withstand adversity to become something greater, Schwartz says, that kept his family moving forward.

The new 20,237 square foot facility at 1715 South Delsea Drive in Vineland has been completely renovated. Now featuring a 5,181 square foot show room, the new facility also includes 13 offices and a 15,056 square foot service shop servicing all makes and models.

“Our community is our family,” Executive Vice President and Director of Operations for Team Nissan Reid Schwartz added.  “We’re very excited for people to come see the new bright, spacious and well appointed showroom and customer service areas.”
