Lyndhurst-based NAVAC, a supplier of HVAC vacuum pumps in addition to a wide array of tools, gauges, charging machines, recovery units and other industry-specific items, experienced unprecedented distributor participation rates in a special Business Reset Promotion providing significant discounts (up to 21%) on the company’s full line of products.
The reaction from distributors during the COVID-19 pandemic significantly exceeded expectations: some 50% of NAVAC’s distributor base took the company up on the offer, driving a month-over-month sales increase of over 100% from May to June. Distributors who’ve already taken advantage of this order receive a subsequent discount on all qualifying orders, regardless of size, through August 31.
“The enthusiastic reception our Business Reset promotion garnered is an encouraging sign, not only for NAVAC but the larger North American HVAC/R sector,” said Stephen Rutherford, vice president of HVAC Tools Business for NAVAC. “Despite the vast challenges presented by COVID-19, the record-setting heat being felt across the United States reminds us that HVAC will continue being an essential service, and NAVAC will do everything possible to continue removing obstacles for distributors where we can.”
To help distributors move existing inventory even as they stock up on additional models, the Business Reset discounts coincide with NAVAC’s Need for Speed promotion which, through August 31, lets distributors provide HVAC customers with two free evacuation tools for those purchasing one of five qualifying vacuum pumps; NAVAC provides a hassle-free service to the participating distributors by taking care of processing and shipping the free items to contractors. Qualifying vacuum pumps include:
Both promotions align with NAVAC’s continued dedication to helping its customers manage the COVID-19 crisis: despite its necessarily reduced office presence, NAVAC’s warehouses have remained open for uninterrupted support to distributors and contractors. NAVAC has maintained sufficient inventory to ensure timely delivery, and conducted training sessions via video conferencing with distributors and contractors.
