Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc., headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts, has signed a lease to develop an innovative new workspace for its organization at the Glenpointe corporate campus in Teaneck.
“Today’s office experience must revolve around creating spaces that inspire and motivate employees,” said Carolina Gutierrez, manager, leasing and marketing at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “We welcome Sunovion Pharmaceuticals to Glenpointe, which is ideally suited to help their team continue its life-changing work and we look forward to their presence on the campus.”
“With support of the Alfred Sanzari team we are able to take advantage of designing an innovative new space to enhance the work experience for our employees in New Jersey and the tri-state area,” said Linda Arsenault, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. “Glenpointe provides us with a dynamic, efficient, and flexible workspace that aligns with being a best place to work, with amenities and offerings for employees in this important region for our business.”
Developed, owned, and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, Glenpointe spans 50 acres, with a campus that comprises 670,000 square feet of adaptable Class-A office space, the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Fitness Center, 700 hotel rooms across three on-site hotels, casual and fine dining options, and covered parking and 24/7 security. Located just 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan, Glenpointe features direct service to New York City via on-site public transit options, direct access to Interstates 80 and 95, proximity to all local airports and other major thoroughfares including the Garden State Parkway, Palisades Interstate Parkway and Routes 4 and 46.
The campus underwent a campus-wide capital improvement strategy in 2019 to better position it around the demands of today’s office tenants. Renovations included redesigned breakout/common areas, upgraded lighting throughout common areas and a revamped outdoor area, The Green, transforming it into a 22,000-square-foot, multi-purpose outdoor amenity space complete with new stonework, seating areas and greenery, surrounding a fountain feature.
Newmark represented Alfred Sanzari Enterprises and CBRE represented Sunovion in this transaction. Gibbons P.C. and Cole Schotz, P.C. provided legal services for the tenant and landlord, respectively.
