Spiezle Acquires Camden-based City Invincible Architecture

Strategic Move Will Strengthen and Expand Capabilities, Significantly Improving Service to Current and Prospective Clients

Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc., an employee-owned, award-winning, full-service architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, and planning firm, has acquired City Invincible Architecture, Interiors and Urban Design of Camden. This strategic acquisition will bolster and expand Spiezle’s current offerings; allowing the firm to better serve its current and future clients.

“We are very excited to add City Invincible to the Spiezle family of companies,” Thomas Perrino, president & CEO of Spiezle said about the acquisition. “City Invincible’s expertise in urban planning and mixed use/multi-family not only adds to the diversity of our Firm, but complements our current offerings and expands the number of market sectors we service.”

City Invincible, which will now be known as “City Invincible, a Spiezle Company,” operates out of the historic State Bank of Camden building on Market Street and offers over 30 years of project experience. With easy access to southern New Jersey and Center City Philadelphia, Spiezle will now be able to better serve its clients in concert with the City Invincible team.

“We are thrilled to have City Invincible join forces with Spiezle,” said City Invincible’s founding principal, Angelo Alberto. “Spiezle’s impressive breadth of markets will allow City Invincible to both diversify its offerings while continuing to improve upon its excellent client service.”

The City Invincible acquisition illustrates the significant progress of Spiezle’s strategic growth plan by expanding to 95 team members. With this acquisition, the firm added 13 members to its team of employee-owner professionals; boasting extensive architectural, planning, landscape architectural, and interior design experience in all their market sectors.

This is Spiezle’s second acquisition in the firm’s 65 year history. In 2016, Spiezle acquired GS Architects to extend its service portfolio while driving the firm’s mission of delivering thought leadership in the healthcare markets.

“We look forward to continuing our smart growth approach to diversity, both in client offerings and geographic locations, and City Invincible is an important piece of our progression into the future,” Perrino said.
