Speak2 Software Claims Investor & Audience Awards at BullPen 13

Voice Command Solution for Senior Living Residents Impresses at TechLaunch’s Premier Pitch Event

The recent TechLaunch Bullpen #13 on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken offered a mixture of compelling presentations to an audience of investors, mentors, academia, business, and students. At the end, Speak2 Software emerged as the sole winner, making a clean sweep of both the Investor Award as well as the Audience Award, and emerging as the collective choice for the most “fundable” of the presenting companies.

Speak2 provides a comprehensive voice command software focused on senior-care in the market, allowing senior living residents to make requests to their caregivers via voice and introducing the many features of voice/smart speaker technology, ultimately enriching the well-being of the senior community. As CEO, Matt Smith pointed out, “TechLaunch has provided Speak2 Software with an amazing array of value, providing the guidance and mentoring that has been critical for our growth. We are excited to engage with the sponsoring companies to help us grow our business.”

The other impressive companies vying for Panel and Audience recognition included the following:

  • CATAPULT – a marketing platform that enables SMBs to acquire video content which attracts target customers to their brand.
  • UrboLabs – a universal mobile platform that allows organizations and businesses to interact with users’ mobile devices without the burden of designing or supporting their own custom mobile app.
  • – (representing the student slot at Stevens Institute) an inventive app that uses crowdsourcing technology to connect consumers to local sustainable restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

TechLaunch Founder, Mario Casabona, observed, “Last evening’s presenters all showed the best of their companies’ value propositions to a critical and sophisticated audience, helped in no small part by our seasoned TechLaunch Senior Mentors. Thank you, all. My thanks also go out to the folks at Stevens Institute for providing exceptional support as well as the most stunning cityscape scenery which would inspire the soul of any entrepreneur!”
