Scott Mertz Named NAI Global Overall Top Producer

NAI Global, a leading global commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced that Scott Mertz, SIOR, was recently recognized as the top producer for the global network of more than 7,000 commercial real estate professionals. Mertz is the president of NAI Mertz, an NAI Global member firm serving southern New Jersey and greater Philadelphia with an office in Mt. Laurel. The award honors individuals who handle the highest volume of multi-market business within NAI. The awards will be presented at the 2017 NAI Global Convention in Carlsbad, CA, this September.

This is the third year in a row that Scott has been recognized as an NAI Global Overall Top Producer. He was also recognized as the top overall producer in 2014 and earned second place in 2015.

With over 3.5 million square feet of sale and lease transactions completed in 2016, some of Scott’s most noteworthy transactions include:

  • A 577,200-square-foot lease to B & H Photo at a newly constructed distribution center at 400 Cedar Lane in Florence, NJ. Scott represented the building owner, First Industrial Realty Trust.
  • The sale of 500 Cedar Lane, a 203,877-square-foot building in Florence, NJ. Scott represented both the owner, 500 Cedar Lane LLC, and the buyer, Valumax International.
  • The sale of 825 Hylton Road, a 198,990-square-foot industrial building in Pennsauken, NJ. Scott represented the buyer, M & D Kinsmen, LLC.
  • The sale of 7 Esterbrook Lane, a 187,000-square-foot industrial building in Cherry Hill Business Park, Cherry Hill, NJ ,to Stoncor Group, Inc. Scott had placed Stoncor as a tenant at the property in 2015, leasing 121,790 square feet.

The sale of 301 Grove Road, a 124,472-square-foot industrial building in West Deptford, NJ. The seller was IPAK Real Estate, LLC. Scott was the sole broker in the transaction.
