Sax LLP Launches Sax Technology Advisors

Clifton-based Sax LLP announced the launch of Sax Technology Advisors (STA), a provider of technology solutions such as business continuity, disaster recovery, managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud computing and technical/project support.  Sax Technology Advisors will serve businesses in New Jersey and New York.

Sax LLP positions itself as an overall business advisor and constantly seeks out new service offerings to provide continued worth. The firm recognizes the extreme value in leveraging technology to enhance business capabilities, and has a heightened awareness of the dangers it poses.

Beginning with a complimentary, detailed network assessment, Sax Technology Advisors will provide businesses with a benchmark of their existing security posture with the goal of helping to proactively secure and manage their network, insulate data and educate staff on best security practices to strengthen a business from all angles. Sax Technology Advisors can also provide essential IT functions in the form of a full-service outsourced IT department, or as a partner supporting a company’s existing IT staff with consultative services or assistance on a project-by-project basis.

Sax Technology Advisors will hold its first webinar on Thursday, May 24 between 11:00-12:00 p.m. to provide an overview of service offerings, service delivery methods, and their engagement process.  To learn more about Sax Technology Advisors and their services, please register for the informative webinar here.

“Today’s day-to-day business functions are driven by technology and fueled by data.  It behooves our firm and businesses to stay ahead of the curve and not fall behind,” said Joseph A. Damiano, Managing Partner of Sax LLP.  “Sax always seeks new solutions to add to our arsenal, and we are thrilled to roll out Sax Technology Advisors and provide this vital business component and additional value to those we serve.”

Sax Technology Advisors is led by Matthew Hahn, an instrumental voice in the technology community with over 25 years of experience.  Hahn sits on the Board of Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) and the Global Advisory Board of Datto, both major players in the industry.  Hahn was previously Vice President of Technology at a prior firm where he founded and led the managed IT practice for over 14 years, serving several hundreds of businesses by providing customized technology solutions to meet their individual needs.

“With an increase in data breaches from small businesses to powerhouses like Equifax and Yahoo, it is clear external threats are a swelling concern.  Businesses now rely heavily on servers and the functionality of hardware to perform operations, and disasters like Superstorm Sandy or heavy-hitting virus infections can bring a business to its’ knees if not properly prepared or protected,” said Matthew Hahn, Head of Sax Technology Advisors.  “Sax Technology Advisors will partner with businesses to secure their network, ensure minimal downtime from disruptions, and provide invaluable expertise and sophisticated tools to maximize efficiencies and productivity.”
