Parsippany-based accounting, tax, and advisory firm Sax LLP announces that its 6th Annual Founders’ Award is open to 501 (c) (3) organizations. This year’s theme is Accessibility, which is a critical part of the mission and operations of nonprofits.
The first-place prize is a $20,000 unrestricted gift to support an organization’s mission and initiatives, along with a 1-year subscription to Yearly.
Submissions for the 2023 Founders’ Award will be due no later than 11:59 p.m. on July 28. All entries must be on time to be considered.
Applicants will submit a non-professional video (no longer than five minutes) and answer three questions provided by Sax :
The Top 75 applicants will be invited to attend the Founders’ Award event on Thursday, Sept. 14, when the winner will be announced. Only one representative from each organization is permitted to attend, and attendees must be either a C-suite executive or Board member to receive the award.
This year, the second-place winner will receive a complimentary video package by Beard & Bowler Productions. The third-place winner will receive a $5,000 unrestricted gift.
As a champion of nonprofits, The Founders’ Award is a way for Sax to honor the values of its founders by empowering and supporting those organizations to continue making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
