RWJBarnabas Health announces new leadership within its Business Development team. Mark Manigan has been named executive vice president, effective April 1, and will report to RWJBarnabas Health President and Chief Executive Officer Barry H. Ostrowsky. Deb Lienhardt will serve as senior vice president.  Both executives join RWJBarnabas Health from the Health Law Practice of Brach Eichler, a law firm based in Roseland.

“We continue to position ourselves as a national leader while improving the health of our communities,” said Mr. Ostrowsky. “Mr. Manigan and Ms. Lienhardt are highly qualified attorneys who have significant experience in both corporate and regulatory health care matters and we are excited that they will be joining our team.”

“Mark and Deb are wonderful attorneys whose approach to the business of health care is second to none.  They have been key forces in developing our Health Law Practice to become the most highly respected team in the region,” said John D. Fanburg, managing member of Brach Eichler and chair of its Health Law Practice. “We are proud of their accomplishments and know RWJBarnabas Health is fortunate to have them on its team.”

While at Brach Eichler, Manigan served a wide spectrum of health care clients. He has provided representation to health care businesses on strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, dissolutions and general corporate matters. Chris Christie’s Transition Teams. Manigan graduated from Bucknell University and Seton Hall University School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.

Lienhardt has distinguished herself as a leader in health care law and transactions over the last two decades.   She has deep expertise in corporate and regulatory matters at both the federal and state level, facilitating some of the most significant health care transactions in New Jersey. She has served as the program coordinator of the New Jersey Healthcare Market Review since its inception.  She started her career in Washington D.C. where she tracked federal health care reform bills and legislation for clients and professionals. Ms. Lienhardt graduated from Rutgers College and the Columbia University School of Law, having also served on the Columbia Business Law Review.  She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

“Mr. Manigan and Ms. Lienhardt are fluent in issues vital to the industry,” stated Ostrowsky. “They will expertly drive our system’s growth and allow us to further leverage opportunities for progress.”
