Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in Branchburg and Emerson College in Boston have signed a new agreement that will facilitate the transfer of RVCC graduates to the four-year College with campuses in Boston, Los Angeles and the Netherlands.
According to the agreement, students may seamlessly transfer to Emerson as long as they have completed at least 32 credits at RVCC and have maintained the requisite grade point average.
“We welcome the new transfer agreement with Emerson College. It will give RVCC students the opportunity to continue their higher education and pursue their creative passions at a highly regarded institution that’s renowned for its programs in the arts, communication, and media,” said RVCC President Michael J. McDonough.
“We are pleased to establish this agreement with Raritan Valley Community College and feel it will further strengthen the partnership between our institutions. The agreement will be beneficial to students who want to continue their education at Emerson and we look forward to welcoming them to our campus community,” said Michael Lynch, Director of Undergraduate Admission, Emerson College.
Students who transfer to Emerson also may benefit from a number of scholarships. “Emerson College is proud to offer a variety of transfer specific scholarships. Students are automatically considered, based on eligibility, for these scholarships. Interested students must complete their application to Emerson College by our March 15th priority deadline,” said Nicholas Washburn, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission, Emerson College.
