The Provident Bank Celebrates Grand Opening of Teachers Village Branch in Newark
On Oct 30, 2014The Provident Bank recently celebrated its grand opening of the Teachers Village branch, located at 222 Halsey Street in Newark. Newark Councilwoman, Gayle Chaneyfield, participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside executives from The Provident Bank. Other festivities included a performance by the Discovery School Rhythm Express Band.
The Provident Bank, a community-oriented bank, is the wholly owned subsidiary of Provident Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE:PFS), which reported assets of $8.4 billion as of September 30, 2014. With over $5.7 billion in deposits, The Provident Bank provides a comprehensive array of financial products and services through its network of branches throughout northern and central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The Bank also provides fiduciary and wealth management services through its wholly owned subsidiary, Beacon Trust Company.
