Price Right Opens First New Jersey Store

The Goldstein Group, a provider of retail real estate brokerage services in New Jersey, announced it has placed Price Rite, a division of Shop Rite, at the site of a former A&P Supermarket located in Garfield.

“This will be the first Price Rite in New Jersey,” announced Chuck Lanyard, President of The Goldstein Group. “There are 55 other Price Rites located throughout the North East.”

The Garfield Price Rite, a subsidiary of Shoprite/Wakefern Food Corporation, will be operated by Inserra Supermarkets, which owns 22 Shop Rite supermarkets in New Jersey and New York.  Price Rite sells a variety of discounted products but with fewer choices than a larger traditional supermarket.

Price Rite filled a 41,000-square-foot former A&P space at 59 Outwater Lane. Neighboring tenants of this location include Kmart, Rite Aid, Verizon, Dunkin Donuts, Capital One, Home Depot, Walgreens, Pathmark, GNC, and Subway.

President, Chuck Lanyard of The Goldstein Group brokered the transaction on behalf of the landlord and the tenant.
