PCF Restaurant Group Acquires 16 Pizza Hut Locations in Southern New Jersey

PCF Restaurant Group, LLC announces the acquisition of 16 Pizza Hut locations in southern New Jersey. The acquisition will build on and complement the significant foundation already in place to serve customers across the region with America’s favorite pizza.

“The Pizza Hut story is the quintessential entrepreneurial success story with strong customer loyalty,” commented Ed Herron, president and owner, PCF Restaurant Group. “The core values that are synonymous with Pizza Hut – menu quality, hospitality and service – will shape the way we run our business, and these values will guide us as we look to the future with restaurant upgrades, additional locations, and more. We are proud to be part of a powerful brand with a rich history of serving its customers and communities.”  Three remodels are scheduled for 2017.  Woodbury, Toms River, and Absecon will be completed by the end of the year.  New locations will be added in 2018 and 2019 across the southern NJ region.

PCF Restaurant Group was formed specifically for this acquisition and is owned by Ed Herron and a few local investors. A New Jersey native, Herron has over 25 years of experience in Pizza Hut restaurant management, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations of Capital Pizza Huts, Inc. The stores were acquired from Capital Pizza Huts, Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“PCF means People Come First. It is important to serve our customers and team members in a way to make the southern New Jersey Pizza Huts an excellent place to eat and work,” Herron continued.

The Pizza Hut stores acquired in the transaction are the locations in: Brick, Bridgeton, Cherry Hill, Clementon, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, Ewing, Hamilton, Magnolia, McGuire AFB, Mt. Ephraim, Pennsville, Rowan University, Toms River, Vineland, and Woodbury.
