O’Mullan Named Managing Partner at Riker Danzig

Morristown-based law firm Riker Danzig LLP has appointed Michael P. O’Mullan as managing partner, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

O’Mullan brings with him a track record as a litigator handling complex business disputes. As a partner at the firm for nearly 20 years, he has been deeply involved in shaping Riker Danzig’s growth and direction, serving significant roles on the firm’s Management and Strategic Planning committees.

The co-chairs of the firm’s Executive Committee, Brian E. O’Donnell and Kelly S. Crawford, expressed their support for O’Mullan and his leadership of the firm’s next generation: “We are confident that Mike will carry forward the prestigious legacy of our firm. His keen vision, solid dedication, and proven leadership make him the ideal choice for the role of managing partner,” said O’Donnell.

Crawford added, “Mike understands not only law firm dynamics, but the pressures and challenges faced by in-house counsel. He will be very effective in helping guide the Firm in providing value-added solutions for our clients. We look forward to the exciting new chapter that lies ahead under Mike’s leadership.”

Current co-managing partners Lance J. Kalik and Michael R. O’Donnell will remain in their roles as active members of the firm’s Executive Committee, and will continue their practices in the firm’s Insurance and Litigation Groups, respectively.
