Offices at Maxwell Place Break Ground in Hoboken

Transwestern to Oversee Leasing of 110,800 SF of Innovative Office Space

Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) announces construction has commenced at 1000 Maxwell Lane, the final building in Toll Brothers City Living’s heralded mixed-use development at historic Maxwell Place in Hoboken. 1000 Maxwell Lane will feature a unique combination of street-level retail, office space and luxury condominiums. TCS has been retained to provide leasing services for the 110,800 square feet of planned office space, with Managing Director Matt McDonough heading the leasing team.

1000 Maxwell Lane is at the intersection of 11th Street and Maxwell Lane in Uptown Hoboken. It is part of Toll Brothers City Living’s larger Maxwell Place development including three luxury residential towers comprising 755 units, a waterfront park, and a diverse mix of retail. The office building at 1000 Maxwell Lane forms an important component of the evolution of the larger Maxwell Place project into a true live/work/play enclave. 1000 Maxwell Lane will include additional street-level retail, six stories of state-of-the-art office, and five stories of elegant condominiums.

In addition to the opportunity to recruit and retain top talent with the allure of high-function workspace designed to spur creativity and collaboration, office tenants of the new building will benefit from a prime location in the sought-after uptown Hoboken neighborhood with direct ferry service to Manhattan. The site, near Stevens Institute of Technology, also gives tenants easy access to one of the premier engineering and technology leaders on the East Coast.

Maxwell Place is adjacent to the 14th Street NY Waterway ferry terminal, approximately a mile from the Lincoln Tunnel entrance and Route 495, which provides access to the New Jersey Turnpike as well as Routes 3, 1 and 9. Multiple public transportation options are available in the area including the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, PATH trains, NJ Transit lines, and NY Waterway.

Maxwell Place is a joint venture between Toll Brothers and Pinnacle Downtown.
