NJ’s Union Construction Industry Awards $1M in Scholarships

286 students were awarded $1,150,950 to put toward their education through scholarships given by New Jersey’s union construction industry.

The scholarships come from trade associations whose members are the construction companies that hire union craftworkers – and from the unions themselves. “It is an honor to be a part of an industry that gives so much,” stated Jack Kocsis, CEO of Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey. “Each year the students seem to get more and more impressive. We are pleased to be able to help them continue their education and we hope they will remember this as they excel in their future careers.”
