For the fourth year in a row, NJM Insurance Group has received the Auto Claims Certification from J.D. Power for providing an outstanding personal auto claims experience.
“J.D. Power’s recognition affirms NJM’s commitment to providing an insurance claims experience that meets or exceeds the expectations of policyholders,” said Mitch Livingston, NJM president and CEO. “Four consecutive years highlights NJM employees’ continued dedication to delivering the highest levels of service.”
Eligibility for J.D. Power’s Claims Certification Program℠ involves a rigorous independent audit of the claims process, including a survey of recent claimants and an evaluation of claims performance across all key areas of the claims process. The audit and claims evaluation resulted in NJM satisfying 86 out of 87 evaluation metrics — a 98.8% success rate, which is well above the minimum requirement of 80%.
The Claims Certification is the second recognition by J.D. Power this year. In June, NJM was named #1 in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the J.D. Power 2021 Auto Insurance Satisfaction Study (AIS). NJM’s score of 867 (on a 1,000-point scale) is 25 points higher than the regional average.
“NJM continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing their policyholders with an exceptional claims experience,” said Tom Super, Head of P&C Insurance at J.D. Power. “J.D. Power congratulates NJM on earning the Auto Claims Program certification for the fourth consecutive year.”
