NJM Insurance Group (NJM) recently hosted six charitable organizations at the company’s first ever nonprofit fair. The organizations were invited to showcase the many ways they serve the needs of communities in and around Mercer and Bucks counties. The event, held during National Volunteer Month, provided NJM employees an opportunity to learn more about each organization’s mission and opportunities to get involved.
“NJM is a service organization that encourages our team members to participate in year-round volunteer efforts, “said Pat Hartpence, NJM corporate giving officer. “Today’s event enhanced our ability to serve communities by showcasing the work of non-profits and providing information on how NJM employees can help support these important efforts and give back to our neighbors.”
The charitable organizations displayed banners, provided brochures, and presented sample volunteer activities. Participants in the Nonprofit Fair included Artworks, Bucks County Opportunity Council, EASEL Animal Rescue, HomeFront, KinderSmile Foundation, and Mercer Street Friends.
“NJM continues to be a wonderful corporate partner,” said Meghan Cubano, HomeFront director of development and advancement. “We are grateful they have organized this event and for the opportunity to share our work and ways our friends at NJM can get further involved.”
