The Procurement Technical Assistance Center at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT PTAC) has made operational changes to better serve businesses amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The center announced that until further notice, technical assistance will be available via 100% remote access, while the office remains closed.
The center has also increased its capacity with two new procurement specialists: Cheryl Chandler and Hailey Park. “Their combined public- and private-sector knowledge base brings a wealth of experience to better serve business needs today and into the foreseeable future,” says Raúl Mercado, NJIT PTAC statewide director.
“While we have either cancelled or modified events, we will continue to serve you remotely with on-demand training, webinars, SAM Registrations and updates, certifications, capability statements, bid-matching, proposal reviews, invoicing, one-on-one counseling, and by identifying viable procurement opportunities for your business,” Mercado says.
