NJBankers Celebrate Banks’ Dedication to Social Responsibility

During their 118th Annual Conference & Exhibit Hall this May, the New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers) recognized 10 banks for their outstanding efforts in serving their communities and making a positive impact on society. From charitable endeavors to volunteer programs, NJBankers Community Service Awards celebrate banks dedication and commitment to social responsibility.

“New Jersey banks have a longstanding history of volunteerism, community service and charitable giving,” said Michael Affuso, NJBankers president & CEO. “The 10 award recipients, in 2023 alone, gave nearly $14 million in charitable contributions, donated more than 27,000 volunteer hours, and supported nearly 3,000 community organizations. We are proud of the efforts of our banks and their employees to better the communities where they live and work.”
