New Senior Residential Care Facility Open in Ocean Township

Christiana Foglio, Founder and CEO of Community Investment Strategies, Inc., (CIS) a recognized builder of award-winning senior housing throughout New Jersey, announced the opening of Onora, a new senior residential care facility in Ocean Township.

Chris has dedicated her life to solving housing problems for seniors and families who need affordable housing options. What you may not know is that she has also provided assisted living and dementia care to those in need for more than 15 years.

“As my family and I faced the challenges associated with loved ones suffering from memory loss and dementia, I became even more focused and passionate in my pursuit to develop a better program to help families support the growing needs of their loved ones.” Says Foglio

After research and the acquisition of a perfect piece of property in Ocean Township, Monmouth County, I am proud to announce our new memory care residence ONORA.

The Onora program is based on the goal of making memory loss less frightening to the family and the individual suffering from its effects. Too often we fall into immediate mourning as we watch someone we love lose the memories we hold so dear. Onora is rooted in the concept of honoring the individual and celebrating life in the moment.

We created a home-like environment at Onora that accommodates up to 15 residents.  Our program addresses memory loss head-on. We challenge the brain to engage and live life. We view daily activities as opportunities to connect and rejoice in simple living, even when it looks very different than what we have known.

Onora is not just a place; it’s a practice. Our goal is to help you, your friends and loved-ones respond to the challenges of memory loss.

The Onora team understands that moving a loved one can be difficult. We therefore offer adult day care in Onora’s intimate setting. In this way, we afford families the opportunity to experience our unique program and feel confident that their loved one will thrive in our community.
